'When I first found Pippa, I was not in a very good place, with her professionalism, care and expertise she  enabled me to climb out of a very dark hole.

I felt I was listened to from the very start and felt very comfortable and relaxed to share any personal worries/concerns.

After each one of my sessions, I was given a very contemporaneous review of our meeting together with recommended websites and books to read which would help with my recovery journey.

I would highly recommend Pippa for anyone going through a difficult time emotionally or as resource to explore the challenges that day to day living sends.'  (June 23 )

'After finding and contacting Pippa On the BACP website, my concerns were replied to almost immediately with empathy and understanding. I felt comforted to know what my son was suffering was not an isolated situation and there was help available after being failed and almost ignored by our GP'

Neurodivergent

Counselling that is designed to meet the needs of people with Autism, ADHD & sensory sensitivities.

1 in 67 people have Autism, many people are living with adults or children with neurodivergent conditions.

Not being heard in NHS

Post Covid19 many people are finding it hard to explain themselves to medical professionals and have been really suffering with worsening physical or mental health: and unsure of how to move forward.

Combining my nursing, support and counselling knowledge has smoothed peoples pathway to getting medical or psychological support on the NHS.

Relationship difficulty

Whilst I do not work directly with couples: I have found that working with one person within a relationship or family can shift and shape the dynamics to improve the wellbeing of a household.

Exam preparation

2024 exam season will soon be upon us.  Counselling & support can really help a person to focus and also identify difficulties with learning styles that can impede revision.  Talking through educational options, future opportunities and worries can relieve pressure upon a person or their family.

Client testimonial: September 2023

Could I ask for a small testament about the experience that I could anonymise for my website?

‘  I am so grateful I've found Pippa when I needed to talk to someone because I can't imagine anyone being more helpful or reassuring. I reached out for some help with improving my confidence and self-esteem, and because life was feeling a bit too hard following some big changes and a difficult relationship. She has enabled me to process so much that had left me feeling stuck, and I now feel better equipped to move forward in my own time and at my own pace. Since having the sessions I am much kinder to myself, confident in my thoughts, beliefs and values and I feel more positive about the future. Thanks to Pippa I feel like my foundations are much stronger than they have ever been, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone that was considering counselling.’ 26/09/23
